Don't blame Pronger for getting frustrated, the Anaheim offense was
non-existent in the last game.

I think he was pissed as he had the pain of wind burns on his face from
Zetterberg/Dats/Draper flying by him all the time...

I don't blame Pronger for the lack of offense. I do blame Pronger and
Niedermeyer for their several cheap shots over the last three series
that have helped cement a "dirty" team label. These guys are supposed
to be team leaders; they've been there and are supposed to show the
younger guys what it takes to hoist the Cup. So far, all I've seen is
"we can't match up if we play the game that got us here. Let's see
what we can get away with and, if we get caught with a stupid penalty,
well, hopefully Giguere will bail us out."

Use to watch a lot of Devils games - Neidermeyer (d-man) was never a cheap
shot guy - like when he pushed Dats head into the ice in the last game.
Domi took him out years ago with a shot to the head in the playoffs and was
suspended and thought he would learn from that also - I do not know why this
guy decided to be more like pronger and less like Lidstrom...frankly he is
better than that...

Without knowing too much about Randy Carlysle, I hate to point my
finger in that direction, but it seems that even Selanne has been
more...ahherm, physical...than in years past. I like that the team
isn't laying back and taking it like they did a few years ago, but
this is a bit extreme.

and that is fine - but you will never see Lidstrom pull that BS and this guy
have more than a few norris trophies...
