Even in the aftermath of the series loss, it's hard to see anything other
than a bright future for the Ducks' team. Guys like Beauchemin, Lopul,
Perry, Getzlaf, and McDonald will only get better for this experience not to
mention hungrier. Bryzgalov will also grow from this experience assuming
that he ends up taking the #1 job from Giguere before the next season.
Burke's done a pretty good job in building a team for the future (and one
that did pretty damn well in the now). Anaheim fans have much to look
forward to.

Thank you. It's rare to see one so classy in victory, at least in
these newsgroups. Best of luck to the Oilers in the finals and do the
west proud!

As I said before, the Oilers and Ducks haven't played each other enough to
develop any sort of rivalry, so this is probably why both NG's ended up
being relatively free of trolls during the series. If the 2 teams keep
meeting like this in the playoffs, there will be a rivalry soon enough...
:)

Would be a shame too, though I'd definitely put hockey fans on a higher
level overall than those from other sports. Get a couple basketball
fans or baseball fans in a group together, you'd hear stuff they
couldn't use in "The Aristocrats."

But then I haven't been in either group when the Oil and the Flames
meet.
