I went to tune in for Game 7 last night. The menu said that OLN was
showing the game. Switch to channel 201 and a blank screen. 2.5 hours
of blank screen. A quick scan of the other channels as well as some
menu manipulation confirmed it was an exclusive OLN program.
I kind of understand blacking out a home game. I don't agree with the
process, but it is what it is. Blacking out the Anaheim market for not
selling tickets to the Saddledome, or wherever the Flames play, is
ridiculous. Worse is if they did it to sell more NHL Prime Ticket
packages.
